Erin Sharkey believes solid financial advising involves holistic planning that addresses all facets of her clients’ lives. While developing an understanding of their hopes and concerns, Erin works side by side to create actionable financial plans to protect her clients’ and their loved ones’ futures. Erin intently listens to her clients and believes this builds the solid partnership needed to develop a confident map of the future. Erin has developed a keen interest in helping families with a loved with one with special needs, and advocates for her clients in a warm and approachable way.

Erin’s unique background combines her interest in analytical reasoning with her desire to help improve her clients’ lives. Her ten years’ finance experiences includes public accounting in England and Chicago at Ernst & Young, and as Business Controller in finance at UBS Global Asset Management. Erin also has six years’ experience working with students with special needs and their families as a school psychologist in the suburbs of Chicago.

Erin holds CPA and UK Chartered Accountancy designations. She graduated with an Economics & Public Policy degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington. Erin also has a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from National Louis University.

Erin enjoys traveling the globe with her husband, Andrew, and enjoying the cuisine that comes with it. She enjoys running, yoga, playing piano, and reading. Erin is involved with several charitable organizations, and serves on the board of HCS Family Services, a food pantry serving the DuPage County area.
