Robert A. Grasso joined Ehlert Financial Group as a Risk Manager for Insurance Solutions in May of 2011. Prior to joining Ehlert he served 29+ years in the United States Navy as both a Navy Officer and Sailor. After the Navy he served as a national director for the Department of Veterans Affairs. He comes to us directly from his previous appointment as Sales Agent for Western & Southern Life Insurance Company.
Robert focuses on insurance solutions. His extensive educational background includes a BS in Pharmacy from Ohio State University, a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Iowa, a MS in Business from Boston University and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Baylor University. Robert is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He holds Life & Health Insurance License and Long Term Care Certification for Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.
Robert’s interest in the special needs community stems from his son Nicholas who was diagnosed with Chromosome 18p-, a genetic disorder resulting in developmental disabilities. Nicholas’ continued success, engaging personality and intelligence motivates Robert to use his skills and experience to assist families in future planning for their loved ones with special needs.
